Oliver Thompson

I'm a portrait and music photographer based in the North East of England. Most of the time, I work with bands, musicians, and other creative folks—shooting everything from promo pics and album covers to gigs and behind-the-scenes stuff.

Shoots can be out on location using natural light or something a bit more set up with lights and backdrops. I’ve also got a studio just outside Newcastle city centre—it’s a nice open space with loads of natural light and proper gear if we need it.

Outside of music stuff, I also do creative and alternative portraits. That side of things is usually a bit more experimental—messing around with styling, lighting, and whatever ideas come up. It’s less about looking polished and more about capturing something interesting or a bit different. Always up for working with people who want to try something out of the ordinary.
